The problem is that during the investigation, this information was not disclosed by the President. So what would Filipino people think about this?

One-Half Cup Rice Please!

I don’t know if you’ve heard the latest news about the rice shortage in the Philippines and the possible increase of its selling price per kilo to about 40 Php. Well, as usual the government is denying this especially the rice shortage. According to the Department of Agriculture about P22 million worth of rice a day are put into waste. Whew! In their own little way top food chain company in the Philippines is selling ½ cup rice to their customers.

Mayor Lim, a former city police chief known as “Dirty Harry” of the Philippines for his ruthless crackdown against crime. He said his campaign is for the rule of law to apply to everyone “regardless of one’s status, rank or affiliation.”As a former law enforcement officer, he said he would like to see a strong republic where the forces of evil, lawlessness and apathy are vanquished, and where “laws protect the weak against the dominance and abuses of the high and mighty.” — With AFP.

Arroyo Administration is Likened to that of Marcos’

During the mass on February 25, 2008, Bishop Bacani compared the Arroyo Administration to that of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos, who was forced to flee the country on February 25, 1986, after millions of Filipinos gathered at EDSA to denounce his oppressive regime and replace him with Corazon Aquino. He said that like Marcos, her administration tried to hide the truth. Accordingly, the President and those in power should keep in mind that the truth would eventually come out. “There is nothing hidden that is not revealed”, he said.
