They say that it is one way of showing their love to their kids and that it’s their way of showing them a lesson. But most experts agree that spanking is harmful and that it can lead to serious adverse consequences as the child grows. It can be humiliating for children, can cause anger and resentment, and does not necessarily teach the lesson a parent is trying to convey.
