Some women have this misconception about pregnancy and exercise. For them, it is a no-no to move, much less sweat it out with exercise because their baby might get affected. That is simply not true. Exercise will even help you get ready and fit for childbirth so you should do it regularly. Here are 3 recommended exercises for you.

Cycling

Biking is less strenuous than running, so this is a must for every soon to be mom’s out there. It is relaxing and allows you to see the beautiful scenery around the neighborhood. Just make sure to visit the doctor’s office first before attempting this so he can give you the go signal.

Swimming

Another activity you can do is water exercises. If you love to do aerobics before, you can now perform it in the pool. Doing so will lessen the strain on your body because the water supports your movement. When you do this, ensure that your husband or a friend will accompany you, just to be on the safe side.

Yoga

Yoga is perfect for anyone, even pregnant mommies like you. It relaxes the mind, body, and soul, which is great seeing that pregnant mom’s are often stressed because of their hormones. In addition to that, some yoga moves are made especially to help pregnant women.

Before trying out these exercises, do not forget to consult your doctor. She will be the one to tell you how many times you can do it, or if you are even allowed to perform certain activities. Remember, it is best to be safe than sorry.
