Not Moving to the Suburbs

Guest post from: Constance Rodgers
I have lived in Washington, DC for ten years, so when my husband suggested we move out to Bowie, Maryland I thought he was losing his mind. When we got married we agreed we wouldn’t move out to the suburbs, and I really didn’t want to even thought a lot has changed since then. My husband persuaded me last week to go out and look at a few houses, so I reluctantly agreed. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, but I still don’t want to move. I am trying to be nice about it so my husband thinks there is a chance he can change my mind. He is looking at homes for sale online all the time, and is even searching for bowie clear internet. I have to do something fast to make him understand that I don’t think I can live that far from my job and all of my friends. I am scared we are going to have a big fight, but it’s no secret that I never intended to live in the suburbs.
