Collision Insurance

November 23, 2011

As a child, I used to be covered by my parents’ insurance. However, as I reached the age of majority, I was forced to get my own Insurance for my good in case I get to be involved in an accident. Good thing there are Insurance companies that offer Insurance for Students at a friendly price. Friendly price that means even a college student can afford while getting the coverage that a student needs. My mother really insisted that I should get one because I had a classmate who got involved in a car collision accident last year and he wasn’t able to get a Collision Insurance yet, and because of that, his parents had to finance him with his hospitalization fee.

Because of those experiences, I also felt that I need to get the insurance especially that I drive around the city a lot. And to get a good quote or just to get an idea of how insurance works and its benefits as well as the payment schemes, I tried to look for a website that could give me the most reliable quote for car insurances. Good thing I found one—the American car quotes website! They give me the quotes in minutes! They save my time and my effort was more focused on deciding which among the quotes would I invest in to.

Piney Point Village Junk removal

November 13, 2011

It is somehow ironic how different can a thing be treated differently by people from different countries and different status in life. Just like when it comes to junk, let me tell how a treasure can a junk be.

For Filipinos who are indigents, a junk is a treasure, a trash is golden. In the Philippines, there are a lot of Filipinos who collect junk from well of families. At times, they would buy those junk from house to house at a very minimal cost and they would sell them at junk shops that would then sell those junk to recycling companies. Junk in the Philippines is a source of income for some families, especially those who are poor families.

But when I started living here in the U.S., I saw things in a very different way. People here are allergic to junk and they even pay a company like Piney Point Village Junk removal to get their junk out of their homes.

From that observation, a thought struck me. What if the two races will live in the same state or community?! For sure they would complement each other. The Filipinos would not need to buy the junk anymore and the Americans would now have someone to collect their junk for free! I know it’s impossible and it was a funny imagination! Even in our house here, I also hire such company to get rid of the junk at home.

Facility Management

November 12, 2011

Christmas is approaching and the whole company is now very busy preparing for our annual company Christmas party. We just had our meeting yesterday for the finalization of the program and we were surprised that the finance and administration staff had so many tasks to do. We tried to argue for a fair division of labor but the boys kept on insisting that the men in the Operations and Maintenance Department are very busy as of the moment. My senior asked what are they busy about and they just said that they are busy having their annual building and plant maintenance.

It was a very long discussion that led to a decision that by next month, the Operations and Maintenance Department should avail a computerized application software for the company’s Facility Management. That way, the men could have ease in their work. And out I.T. personnel also suggested that the company should have it instead of hiring more people because we are now operating three plants.
And because of that agreement, the finance, administration, Operations and Maintenance Departments already have a fair role in the annual Christmas party. The boys went out from the conference room with stunned faces! Obviously, they just wanted to have a lesser role at the party! Haha!

Physical Therapy Software

November 11, 2011

Physical Therapy is one of the oldest practiced cures for some muscle and joint pains. Even people who have suffered strokes and vehicle accidents that need therapy would undergo physical therapy for their complete recovery. However, as years pass by, physical therapy also improves. As technology invades all other aspects of life, the world of medicine is NOT an exception as physical therapy has now the physical therapy software. From hearing such term or phrase, one would think that the physical therapy is now aided with computer or robots. No it’s not. It is just software that would provide physical therapists with paperless paperless physical therapy practice. In terms of scheduling, documentation, billing & management reporting modules, those things are now fully integrated, thus, making things easy and fast especially for out-patients.

Our family had experienced that ease ourselves when my late grandfather had his stroke and he doesn’t want to have his therapy at the hospital. Instead of us going to the hospital to fix the schedules and the billings, it saved us the effort because of such software. Good thing my grandfather’s also approved of his wishes because if not, it will really be a hard time for us taking him to the hospital three times a week!

Charleston Real Estate

November 3, 2011

Owning a house at Charleston County, South California is one of my dreams. I wanted to have a vacation house, perhaps. I do like the way their houses there are designed—very classic but classy! They are made as if they were made of old thick stones that were carved to perfection.

I got oriented with Charleston real estate recently and I was able to check out their website. I was awed with the beautiful houses that they have shown in their website. They are huge, elegant, and exquisite and they are quite expensive! But they are expensive in a positive way because the house is worth the price.

If you’d like to be familiar with the houses at Charleston county, you better visit the Charleston real estate website. You would learn a lot from them. They would even help you find a licensed real estate mortgage consultant. You can also be familiar with other counties which their houses are also located.

As of the moment, this will still stay as an unrealized dream. But soon enough, when my financial capacity will allow me to realize this dream, then why not! I will gladly invest my money to some real estate property in Charleston County!

Fly Ash Handling

November 2, 2011

A lot of buildings are built around the city lately and fly ashes are roaming around its vicinity. At times, when I walk near that work-in-progress building, it triggers my nasal allergy whenever those fly ashes come into my nose. Just the same with my work place—which is a diesel power plant. I work at a plant office and the powerhouse is just meters away from the finance building where I work. Whenever the power plant operates, fly ashes also come out from the chimney of the power house for it is the waste product of the power engine. I just hope builders and contractors will be responsible enough to hire a fly ash handling company that would provide ash handling solutions, just like United Conveyor Corporation (UCC).

UCC is a patronized service provider for ash handling for so many years. The power plant where I worked in might be a private corporation but the plant operators are very much concerned of the environment and they do not want to be tagged as one of the “pollutants” in the city that is why they make sure that they clean their waste. For years, my big bosses preferred to hire UCC's services because UCC has devoted its efforts exclusively to the design, supply, installation and maintenance of ash handling and other abrasive material handling systems. In short, they are the experts for this kind of field, and companies like the company where I work hire nonetheless but the best!

Untitled Jersey City Project

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Untitled Jersey City Project. All opinions are 100% mine.

UNT_091311_Title_bmb_v01.ai (1 page)I got really excited when I found out that there is an upcoming television drama that is entitled Untitled Jersey City Project. It was rumored that this is a unique experiment in the development of an entertainment concept: it’s a work-in-progress television drama. It has eight episodes that are fragments from a larger story, with many of the story threads left unresolved. But from these eight episodes, this much is clear: Everyone here has something to gain – money, fame, and power. Or they can lose big. Or they could end up dead. The story is set amidst the fast-developing Jersey City waterfront, just across the river from Manhattan. A shining new city is being built on the edge of this gritty town. But while the glass office towers and condos are sleek and new, the rules of the game haven’t changed one bit.

From the information that I have gathered about this drama, it seems that its storyline will wake-up a lot of curious minds. It has a very interesting story line that will make one’s brain work out as the episode continues. I tried to see the sneak peek video for this drama thinking I might get all the information that I need without watching the whole episode, but I was wrong. It just teases me more.

If you got intrigued with my review about this new drama, better watch the sneak peek video here http://www.youtube.com/embed/k2lpJPexTq4 and post your own personal thoughts, reactions and feedbacks on the comments section. Your comments do count! You'll never know, the makers of this series might be reading this blog!
