Importance of the Bible

November 17, 2008

A lot of Christians claim that they are Christians when in fact they don’t act like one, nor live a life that follows the teachings of Christ. That’s where the Bible enters in our lives. Bible is very important in our lives. It is our basic “manual” in which we need to live by. If we just try to read the Bible, not just passively, but actively and by heart, we could surely find some verses that could lead us to the solution of our problems. The Bible is not just a doctrinal manual; it is also a manual which can be interpreted practically. As its acronym goes: Basic Instructions By which to Live on Earth.

I have to ask...just how well do you know the Bible?

Yeah. Some Christians don't even read the Bible! Reading the Bible is very important so as not to be tempted by the Devil. :)

Too many Christians have too little knowledge of the Bible. It hurts every part of their life and hurts the Kingdom of God.

Good post. Thanks.
