Ice Cream Won’t Harm

Even though I’m on diet, I do not deprive myself to eat comfort foods. Of course, I do watch my fat and sugar intake that is found in most comfort food, but a dose of these food once in a week probably won’t harm. I wrote this because I remember, I ate double dutch ice cream the other night. I ate along with my friends, but of course, mine was only limited since I’m on diet. I believe that breaking the rules won’t harm just as long as it remains only as a “once in a while” and not as and habitual breaking of diet rules.

Experience has taught me that if you deprive yourself, then you are more likely to fail in your goal of losing or maintaining weight.
I'm diabetic and they told me at my food meeting that you should take 2 splurge days (1 meal only) each week.
So no once a week will not hurt you. It really will help you because it will help keep you on track.
Hmm Ice cream...so delicious but hmm......
