First Impressions
September 14, 2008
She was a new student when my elder sister was second or third year high school. On the first day of class, she introduced herself so overconfidently that many instantly disliked her. She soon became the butt of her looks or the way she spoke.
She hardly had any friends but, as the months passed, her excellence and intelligence began to shine through. Little by little, she won my sister and classmates over. Before long, they were jockeying to be in her group for class projects because she always got high grades. It was only a matter of time before she emerged as a leader in their batch. Her name is Nimfa and her birthday is the same with my sister.
First impressions can indeed be deceiving.
