No one among westerners is familiar with this foodstuff called "biko" for it is found only in the Philippines. This delicacy is has a sweet taste, sweet smell and has a pasty texture. The rice used in this delicacy is a special kind of biko rice called "pilit." Pilit because it’s pasty texture. It has dark violet color rice especially when cooked. Others use brown sugar that makes some biko brownish in color. But you just have to taste it because its heavenly delicious biko that goes well with your favorite drink, coke on the rocks.
