Pride
August 23, 2008
I used to pride myself for being an “action oriented” person. I was critical of people who have perceived to have the gift of chatter and was full of empty promises, who talked loud and did nothing. A staunch believer in the old proverb “actions speak louder than word,” I often remained silent and feigned to just to what I was supposed to.
I was wrong! In my conceit, I blinded myself to the power of words… and to own timidity, I am slowly learning that there are times when talking is more appropriate than “silent witnessing.”

Enjoy the last week of the month!
I would have to agree that there is a time to talk and a time to listen; however, the most important thing is being able to follow through with what you have said. There are talkers and there are doers. Don't be just a talker!!
