Betrayal

Betrayal is one of the worst and possibly even the most destructive crimes a person can commit or experience. It tears us apart at the core of existence – that core where we establish and maintain our relationships of trust, love and security. Every sin does that; every evil creates barriers between us and others. Those who betray tend to isolate themselves and those who are betrayed feel violated.

The ultimate betrayal a woman can experience in her life is her best friend sleeping with her husband!
Betrayal becomes even more painful when it is done by someone that you have completely give your trust
Excellent points, but I think that those are betrayed tend to isolate themselves from the world. It's hard to trust the world when everyone has tricked you in some way or another.
But yes, betrayal is an ugly thing.
