Twenty Dollar Bill
June 6, 2008
Did you know that in May 1998, the U.S. Treasury Department introduced a new twenty dollar bill. It had the same size, the same design, the same words, the same building, the same statesman (albeit a slightly larger Andrew Jackson), and even the same color scheme as the previous version. The differences were barely visible to the human eye and yet, it kept you safe from counterfeits so easily reproduced by the scanners and printers available today.
