Thinking of green mangoes with the local “bagoong” will indeed make one’s tongue water. This is a common delicacy in the Philippines especially during mango season. The young fruit which is crispy is picked and sliced into small pieces. Mixed with the young mangoes are tiny shrimps seasoned with salt, which is widely known as “bagoong”, tomato and onions. This is a good side-dish for grilled pork-chop.
