Believe to See

TO SEE IS TO BELIEVE. This has been my battle cry ever since I was in elementary. I considered it a need to have a motto in life back then. Thus, in everything I did, promises were nothing but hot air until they’re fulfilled; feelings were nothing but uncertainties until they’re proven with clear-cut evidences; and believing was only for the faithful and imaginative people of the world. In short, I was pessimistic.
Today, when I look back, I laugh for having grounded my principles on such shallow measures.
