My husband and I enjoyed our once in a lifetime experience, while staying in New York City. While there on our last vacation, because my hubby and I have always wanted to be there in Times Square during the last seconds of New Years Eve. It was the best time for us to be there to bring in the New Year of 2008. It was a night filled with excitement and community; in the final moments, people were embracing and singing for “Auld Lang Syne”. It was a most romantic moment, as we counted down the seconds to end the old year and bring in the new. Just as the first second of the New Year began, we were embracing and had our first kiss of the New Year. Even though there was a large crowd, it did not matter, because just about everyone there who had a partner was doing it.

The next few days we enjoyed other attractions of the city. Of course we had to visit the Statue of Liberty, Radio City Music Hall, and Central Park with many areas that have been filmed for the many movies. There was not enough time to see everything, so it looks like we will have to return for another vacation. Since, there are so many things to do in the Big Apple, we will take advantage of New York City Tours to take us to the many places that we did not have time to go to on our first visit.
