Peso-Dollar Exchange Rate

February 6, 2008

Many analysts had predicted that the Philippine currency will further strengthen in 2008. Some expects that peso will further appreciate to P37.50. As of the moment the Peso-Dollar rate reaches the P40-level already. The Philippine Peso is really doing well against the US dollars but our Filipino brothers who are working abroad are not happy because the value of each dollar is getting low everyday.

well im not earning dollars but am not happy either. maybe only Gloria who can be happi about this. what i mean is the dollar xchange was 45 til it plummet to 40 now and who knows how much more lower. but the prices of goods that was didn't scale down at all. so where is justice in that? nice rice is 1 dollar a kilo! horrible!

i guess philippine gov wants the people to go hungry. sad.

i know it may sound greedy but isa ako sa mga nag-pray na sana tumaas naman ng konti ang value ng dollar...hehehe...kasi ang prime commodities' prices are still escalating, the declining dollar value doesn't do good especially to the ordinary citizens...only to the businessmen, perhaps...
